Nike is celebrating how far women’s sports have come in “Voices”, a television commercial featuring elite athletes who have defied convention to reach their goals, connected with young women starting out in the fields of running, boxing, basketball, baseball, soccer, swimming. American professional women’s basketball player Lisa Leslie, fly-weight boxer Marlen Esparza, American marathon runner Joan Benoit Samuelson, and professional basketball player Diana Taurasi just wanted to play sports.
